Collection: BIG BUDDHA

Big Buddha Seeds is a UK breeder built entirely around one plant: the clone-only UK Cheese that had been circulating around Britain since the late 1980s, said to have come out of a Skunk #1 pack found in the Chiltern Hills. Around 2002, the breeder known as Big Buddha stabilised it into seed form by crossing it with a select Afghani male, and Big Buddha Cheese went on to win Best Indica Seed at the 2006 High Times Cannabis Cup.

Cheese runs through nearly everything in this collection, either directly (Cheese, Black Cheese, Silver Cheese, Head Cheese, LA Cheese, California Orange Cheese, Cheese Dawg) or as a parent one generation back. Blue Cheese, a Blueberry male crossed onto the original Cheese mother, won Best Sativa Seed Bank that same year at the 2006 Cup and remains one of the line's most important crosses; it's here alongside its autoflowering version. Bubble Cheese, Freeze Cheese 89, Cookies & Cream Cheese and Cheese Puffs all take the same Cheese base in a fruitier or sweeter direction, and Chiesel and Sour Chiesel, plus their autoflowering versions, cross it with a diesel-leaning line instead.
