Sweet Seeds is a Valencia-based breeder, founded in 2005, best known industry-wide for pioneering the F1 Fast Version concept: feminized, photoperiod strains crossed with the breeder's own autoflowering lines to shave one to two weeks off flowering time without actually becoming autoflowering themselves. Cream Caramel, their most awarded strain, and Mohan Ram, bred as a tribute to Mohan Ram, the breeder credited as the father of feminized seeds, are two of their most significant releases.

Most strains here come in two or three parallel versions: a standard feminized line, an XL Auto autoflowering version, and often an F1 Fast Version too. Cream Caramel, Cream Mandarine, Green Poison, Jack 47, Killer Kush, NYC Diesel and S.A.D. (Sweet Afgani Delicious) all follow this pattern. A run of Red-prefixed strains, Red Gorilla Girl, Red Mandarine, Red Mimosa, Red Poison and Red Strawberry Banana, belongs to Sweet Seeds' Red Family collection, bred for high anthocyanin content and genuinely red, purple or blue-toned plants rather than the usual green.
