Hemper Gaming Flower Bong

The Hemper Gaming Flower Bong was Hemper's February 2022 theme, a water pipe in borosilicate glass that takes its cues from retro gaming imagery — the pixel-era colour palette and iconography of early consoles. It's one of the oldest designs we have from their monthly run, which makes it correspondingly harder to find anywhere.

Every Hemper theme is a single limited batch. February 2022 was more than four years ago, so what's left of this design is what's left — there is no more being made and there never will be.

How it performs

It's a straightforward, well-proportioned pipe: standard bowl and downstem, a chamber that holds a sensible amount of water, and a base that keeps it upright. The gaming theme is carried in the colour and detailing rather than in an awkward shape, so it functions as reliably as any beaker.

Regular size only. It's a compact, easy-to-live-with piece — the collector value is in the date, not the size.

If you want to check the provenance, the SKU does it for you — WP0222 encodes February 2022, the month the design was issued. That dating is the reason Hemper glass holds a following: each piece belongs to one month and one batch.

Looking after it
